Montreal +680 to win the Grey Cup
Montreal should win their division (-500 to win the East). That means a bye the first week of the playoffs. Then they would host the next game before the Grey Cup. With a +680 you would have lots of room to hedge your bet.
Very interesting. Montreal is only a 3' point underdog playing at Calgary this week. Calgary is considered the best in the west (+170 to win the West). That would mean close to even money in a neutral site if they were to play in the Grey cup. Could put in a nice hedge bet if Montreal got that far.
As of now, I see no competition for Montreal in the East. Here's what the odds maker's have for those teams to win this year.
Montreal ov/un 12' games.
Winnipeg ov/un 7' games
Toronto ov/un 6' games
Hamilton ov/un 5' games
I also like taking Hamilton under 5'. They are a pathetic team.
